Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 22nd June 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of cjp.institute and learn.cjp.institute (together, the “Sites”), and your purchase and use of any course, bundle, or related material offered under the Certified Jewellery Professional brand (“CJP”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). CJP is operated by Mutiny Consulting Pte. Ltd., a company incorporated in Singapore (“Mutiny Consulting”, “the Company”).
By accessing the Sites, creating an account, or purchasing a course, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Sites or purchase any course.
1. Who We Are
CJP Institute is a training brand operated by Mutiny Consulting Pte. Ltd. References to “CJP”, “the programme”, or “the courses” refer to content and services provided by Mutiny Consulting under this brand.
Registered Address: 60 Paya Lebar Road, #11-53 Paya Lebar Square, Singapore 409051
UEN: 201621455N
2. Course Access and Delivery
Courses are delivered through our third-party learning platform, Thinkific. By enrolling in a course, you also agree to Thinkific’s own terms of service, which govern the technical operation of the platform.
- Access to a purchased course begins once payment has been confirmed and continues for as long as the course remains available on the platform to a maximum of 12 months, except where access is explicitly time-limited and stated as such at the point of purchase.
- We aim to give reasonable notice before retiring or materially changing any course you have purchased, but we cannot guarantee indefinite availability of any specific piece of content.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details and for all activity under your account.
3. Fees and Payment
- Course fees are stated in the currency shown at checkout and are payable in full before access is granted, unless otherwise agreed in writing (for example, under a Teams or Enterprise agreement).
- Payment is processed by Thinkific and its payment partners. We do not directly store or process your card details.
- Prices may change at any time. Changes will not affect courses you have already purchased.
4. Refund Policy
All course sales are final. Because CJP courses are digital products that can be immediately accessed and consumed in full, we do not offer refunds once a course has been purchased and access has been granted.
We encourage you to review course descriptions, learning objectives, and any available previews carefully before enrolling. If you have questions about whether a course is right for you, please contact us before purchasing.
5. Licence to Use Course Content
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of all applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use CJP course content for your own personal learning, or, where purchased under a Teams or Enterprise arrangement, for internal use by members of your own organisation.
This licence does not permit you to:
- Reproduce, copy, distribute, sell, resell, or sublicense any course content, in whole or in part.
- Use any course content to deliver training, coaching, or consulting services to any third party, whether for payment or otherwise.
- Use any course content as the basis for your own training materials, courses, or commercial offering.
- Share your account access or course materials with any person who has not personally purchased or been granted access under a Teams or Enterprise agreement.
- Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or attribution notice contained in the course content.
If you are a trainer, coach, or consultant and wish to use CJP content, frameworks, or methodology as part of a paid service to your own clients, you must contact us to discuss formal written agreement or a separate commercial licence.
Unauthorised commercial use of CJP content is a breach of these Terms and of our intellectual property rights, and we reserve the right to suspend access and pursue any remedy available to us at law.
5A. No Endorsement or Responsibility for Licensee Conduct
Completion of any CJP course, holding of the Certified Jewellery Professional credential, or the grant of any licence to use CJP content does not constitute an endorsement, approval, sponsorship, or recommendation by Mutiny Consulting Pte. Ltd. of any individual, business, product, or service.
No licensee, certificate holder, or course purchaser is an employee, agent, partner, or representative of Mutiny Consulting Pte. Ltd., and no such relationship should be implied or represented to any third party.
You may not state or suggest that Mutiny Consulting Pte. Ltd. endorses, supervises, or is responsible for your business, products, services, or conduct. Mutiny Consulting Pte. Ltd. accepts no liability for any act, omission, statement, or business outcome of any individual or organisation that has purchased a course, completed certification, or been granted a licence under these Terms.
6. Intellectual Property
All course content, including videos, worksheets, frameworks, quizzes, facilitation guides, coaching guides, branding, and the CJP name and logo, is owned by or licensed to Mutiny Consulting Pte. Ltd. and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Except for the limited licence granted in Section 5, no rights are transferred to you.
7. Certification
Learners who successfully complete all required components of the Certified Jewellery Professional programme will receive a certificate of completion. The certificate reflects completion of the programme as designed by Mutiny Consulting and does not constitute a government-recognised qualification, professional licence, or guarantee of employment or commercial outcome.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Sites or course platform for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Sites, course platform, or other users’ accounts.
- Upload or transmit any material that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes the rights of others.
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the Sites or course platform.
9. Third-Party Services
The Sites and courses rely on third-party services, including but not limited to Thinkific (course delivery and payment), Hostinger (web hosting), Cloudflare (fraud prevention), Mailchimp (email marketing provider), and website analytics tools. Your use of these services may also be subject to the relevant provider’s own terms and privacy policy.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Course content is provided for educational purposes and reflects general best practice in jewellery retail and sales. It is not personalised professional, legal, financial, or business advice, and outcomes will vary depending on individual circumstances.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mutiny Consulting Pte. Ltd. excludes all warranties, express or implied, regarding the Sites and course content, and shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Sites or courses.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “last updated” date. Continued use of the Sites or courses after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Sites or courses shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
