Understanding a customer’s needs is the starting point. Your next task is to show how your offer meets them. Make the Pitch helps jewellery professionals prepare persuasive presentations, combine emotion with evidence and guide customers towards a clear next step.

This is one of eight courses in the Certified Jewelry Professional programme. It contains six units in the Skillset track.

What you will learn

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Summarise a customer opportunity and invite a relevant next conversation or appointment.
  • Prepare visual materials, product examples and evidence that support your message.
  • Structure a presentation using Attention, Interest, Desire and Action.
  • Build a dialogue that connects customer needs with a solution and supporting proof.
  • Explore the implications of a customer’s situation and the value of addressing it.
  • Deliver your pitch with clear language, composed body language and appropriate pacing.

Who this course is for

Make the Pitch is for jewellery retail professionals who want to present products, design concepts and recommendations more effectively. It is useful for associates preparing private appointments, following up prospective customers or explaining a considered purchase.

Managers and coaches can use the course to help their teams structure presentations, select supporting materials and practise their delivery.

What the course covers

Reach Out

Turn an earlier conversation into an opportunity to present your offer. Use the SUMMARY framework to restate the customer’s priorities, explain a relevant direction and secure agreement on the next step.

Build Your Pitch Toolkit

Gather the visuals, product examples and evidence that bring your message to life. Organise them around a clear purpose and plan what the customer will see, hear and experience during your presentation.

AIDA

Structure your pitch through Attention, Interest, Desire and Action. Connect relevant product information with personal meaning, then invite a next step suited to the customer’s readiness.

DIPADA

Build a problem solving dialogue through Define, Identify, Proof, Agreement, Desire and Action. Clarify the need, propose a suitable solution and check understanding before moving forward.

SPIN

Explore Situation, Problem, Implication and Need Payoff to deepen your understanding of what matters. Use that insight to explain how your recommendation addresses the significance of the customer’s situation.

Present with Impact

Bring your preparation and pitch structure together through the Four Ps: Prepare, Posture, Project and Personalise. Practise your delivery, manage your pacing and respond to the customer’s reactions.

How learning works

Each unit combines a short learning video with a quiz and an individual activity.

You will prepare outreach messages, organise your pitch materials and practise applying different frameworks to jewellery customer situations.

The Coach format adds group activities, role play and guidance for reviewing pitch structure and presentation delivery.
